Engage and Manage Broker Crew plays a critical role in delivering Home Buying channel objectives by driving growth, experience and operational excellence across the broker channel.

The Crew positions CommBank as a trusted premium partner for brokers, supports increased lending volume and market share, improves broker and customer experience, and delivers strong risk and governance outcomes. Through continuous simplification, automation and optimisation of broker processes, the Crew also contributes to improved productivity and a more scalable, modern Home Buying ecosystem.

On any given day you will

  • Onboard Mortgage Brokers

  • Conduct administrative assessment of broker accreditation applications against defined policy and compliance requirements

  • Verify supporting documentation (e.g. qualifications, memberships, reference checks) for completeness and accuracy

  • Identify and escalate risks, exceptions and/or non compliant issues

  • Maintain accurate records of accreditation decisions and supporting evidence

  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Commission and Payment Processing

  • Process fortnightly commission files in accordance with payment schedules and controls

  • Monitor and reconcile commission outputs to identify anomalies or discrepancies

  • Ensure all processing aligns with pre-defined operating procedures, good governance and reconciliation requirements

  • Investigation & Issue Resolution

  • Investigate requests relating to incorrect or missing commission payments or onboarding application updates/requirements

  • Provide clear outcomes and resolution to stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Escalate systemic issues and contribute to remediation or process improvements

  • Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Adhere to regulatory, risk and compliance obligations (e.g. responsible lending, audit controls)

  • Support audit and/or risk activities by providing evidence and documentation as required

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort and enhance accuracy

  • Contribute to process documentation and knowledge management
