Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing is searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving invoices through a 3rd party billing platform. You will communicate with our internal employees as well as our external clients to insure the invoicing is correct and approved in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for accurate and timely posting of invoices and credits
- Change and verify information for invoicing (verification of worked hours, retrieving signatures, updating client contacts, and manage billing discrepancies
- Review and finalize billing information from new hire compliance forms
- Work directly with Account Managers to ensure billing information is correct for all new accounts
- Deliver invoices to clients via digital and traditional mail services
- Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements
- Evaluate sales tax nexuses for customers
- Special projects, as needed

Work Environment
This position operates as a hybrid position and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Work environment defined:
Local - position has in-office requirements and would require employee to live in the local area
Hybrid - position has weekly in-office requirements but ability to work from home as well, would require employee to live in the local area
Physical Demands
- Employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, headset, calculator, copier, and printer
- The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, computer equipment, copier, etc.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years previous experience in similar role
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years previous experience in similar role
- Experience working with Great Plains accounting software
- Experience working with Vendor Managed Services
Compensation
$22-24/hr for base hourly salary
