Perform accounts receivable tasks including reconciling cash/checks/credit card receipts, posting payments, running credit card payments, processing credit applications, maintaining customer account profiles, handling mail and postage, reconciling petty cash, filing bankruptcy claims, calling customers about payment issues, and supporting other AR/office duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card receipts; scan checks to bank and make daily deposits.
- Handle customer account profiles, customer restrictions, cash settlements, new vendor information forms, W-9’s, and customer sales tax.
- Process commercial credit applications.
- Responsible for postage machine and outgoing mail
- Retrieve and distribute incoming mail.
- Process incoming checks and post payments to customer accounts.
- Handle purchase orders.
- Call customers for overpayments, underpayments, or incomplete information, including correct mail addresses when emails are returned, and regular mail when returned.
- Set-up consumer Web access.
- Run credit card payments.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and faxes from customers.
- Reconcile petty cash.
- File bankruptcy claims
- Set up customer web access accounts for online accounts.
- Email bank information on NSF checks and ACH payments.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
