Openpath’s Finance team is responsible for managing the company's financial profile within the larger Motorola Solutions portfolio of Video Security & Access Control. By joining our Finance team, you will work with a group of thoughtful, insightful individuals, all of whom are committed to solving complex problems and ensuring the continued growth of the company and its platforms.
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AR Analyst to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of billing changes as it relates to our subscription sales for the high-growth Access Control division. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a SaaS environment, maintaining complete and accurate supporting documentation, and enjoys working collaboratively with customer service and sales teams to resolve any billing and subscription issues.

 

What you’ll do & more...

  • Process customer account change orders, and assist in the detailed review of transactions to ensure proper billing and accounting

  • Respond to questions regarding subscription changes to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage ticketing queues and ensure timely response and resolution

  • Ensure supporting documentation and approvals are complete and follow policy guidelines

  • Identify patterns of customer issues to help streamline processes and identify opportunities for automation 

  • Generate invoices and credit memos

  • Support audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility

  • Other ad-hoc strategic analyses and work across the company, as necessary

​Additional Skills

  • Experience working with subscriptions and renewals

  • Understanding of the AR subledger and how it impacts the overall financial health of the organization

  • Basic knowledge of GAAP accounting principles a plus

  • Exposure to NetSuite and/or other accounting systems a plus

  • Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business

  • Elevated pride of ownership in work product

Compensation 

  • This role will carry an annual salary of $50,000 - $60,000 CAD
  • This role will also be eligible for an annual bonus and annual merit increases 


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with 1+ years of experience finance or accounting roles OR a Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalency certificate with 3+ years of Accounts receivable experience
