Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00
Job Summary:The Accounts Payable Specialist manages the full cycle of vendor payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. The AP Specialist will maintain strong vendor relationships so they may resolve any discrepancies directly with vendors. This position will also be required to maintain accurate files for audits and financial reporting purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive, review, and enter invoices into accounting system Financial Edge
- Match invoices to receipts and payments to ensure compliance with company policy
- Maintain vendor profiles
- Obtain authorization for payment before preparing accounts payable checks for payment
- Process ACH Wire transfers via banking website
- Enter and reconcile all gift shop and admission revenue
- Deposit incoming checks via Remote Capture and deposit cash and checks at bank
- Distribute monthly business credit card statements for coding and approvals
- Process incoming/outgoing mail correspondence while maintaining postage machine
- Manage W9 forms and prepare 1099s at the end of each year
- Order office supplies as needed and requested
- Assist visitor experience as needed during employee absences
- Provide office and administrative support to other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting
- Required Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to solve discrepancies, research, and support audit
