Job Description

Checkout.com is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join the Accounts Payable Team reporting to the Senior Accounts Payable Manager. You will be managing invoices and queries for the Accounts Payable function for several Checkout.com entities.

The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic team player who is proactive and organised with strong attention to detail.

How you’ll make an impact

•   Respond promptly and professionally to all internal and external inquiries, ensuring compliance with the department’s service level agreements (SLAs).
   

• Accurately process invoices, credit notes, and payments in accordance with company policies and within agreed SLAs.
   

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain invoice approvals and resolve queries efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to payment cycles.
   

• Prepare and execute weekly supplier payment runs as well as ad hoc payments as required, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
   

• Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements to ensure alignment and resolve discrepancies proactively.
   

• Contribute to month-end close processes, including preparation of bank reconciliations and relevant AP-related entries.
   

• Support the finance team by preparing weekly cash flow forecasts for assigned entities.
   

• Maintain adherence to key AP controls to reduce financial and operational risks.

What we’re looking for

• Must have worked in an Accounts Payable or Finance environment previously. 

• Excellent attention to detail

• Self-motivated, able to work towards tight deadlines

• Able to work independently, as well as a strong team player

• Good working knowledge of Excel 

• Fluent in English and be prepared to work UK hours
