Join the accounting team at Toyota of Puyallup, the #1 volume Toyota dealership in the Puget Sound! We are seeking a dependable, detail-focused Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk. This role is essential to keeping our dealership operations running smoothly by ensuring the accuracy, compliance and timely processing of our high-volume dealership transactions.
Responsibilities & Expectations
We expect a high level of precision, collaboration, continuous improvement with the ability to maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
- Audit & Process: You will audit invoices and purchase orders, verify payments and receipt of payments, reconciliation of credit cards and inter-franchise accounting.
- Financial Accuracy: You'll balance debits/credits, maintain and reconcile accounting schedules, verify all deal data aligns with finance documentation in the DMS and manage service warranty remittances.
- Daily Collaboration: You will communicate with our Parts and Service management teams as well as working with our Office Manager to resolve discrepancies.
- Professionalism: We require at least 3 years of AP/AR experience (automotive preferred) and a methodical approach to handling time sensitive data and account receivable management including assisting with collections on outstanding items.

Requirements
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years of accounts payable/accounts receivable experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Experience auditing invoices, purchase orders, reconciling credit cards and inter-franchise accounting
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and verifying deal finance documentation
- Methodical approach to handling time-sensitive financial data and assisting with collections
- Valid Washington State driver's license and clean driving record
