This position requires strong attention to detail, solid understanding of AP processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including receipt, review, coding, approval routing, amortization and timely payment of vendor invoices
- Monitor and maintain the AP inbox, ensuring timely and professional communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accounts are current and discrepancies are resolved
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master records, including onboarding new vendors, verifying banking information, and collecting W-9s or other required documentation
- Manage payment runs, including ACH, check, and wire payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure appropriate approvals and documentation are in place for all invoices
- Support month-end close processes by preparing AP-related journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reports
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure proper expense coding and departmental allocations
- Maintain documentation of AP policies and procedures and support internal and external audit requests
- Assist with consolidating separate AP instances/processes as a result of the acquisition that combines ForeFlight/Jeppesen
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement automation or efficiencies in the AP function
- Track and report key AP metrics (e.g., aging reports, outstanding invoices, vendor inquiries) to management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and issue resolution
- Provide guidance, training, or mentorship to junior AP team members, if applicable
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Concur, or similar)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a technology or aviation-related company
- Prior involvement in a company divestiture, acquisition, or other business transformation
- Familiarity with automated AP workflows and expense management systems
- Experience supporting both domestic and international AP transactions
- Intermediate Excel skills for reporting and audits (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $70-$95k.
This position is currently part of Boeing but is planned to transition to an independent company owned by Thoma Bravo, as part of a pending divestiture of the Digital Aviation Solutions organization. If you are selected for this role, your employment may initially be with Boeing (dependent on start date). Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Additional details about this transition will be shared as they become available.
