Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.  Candidates must possess strong organizational skills as well as maintain a professional attitude.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze data.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Organize/understand expense distribution using general ledger accounts.
• Data entry.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining organized and accurate digital and historical records of all financial transactions and vendor information.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and internal controls.
• Preform general office duties such as answering telephones, handling routine correspondence, and operating general office equipment.
• Reconcile records of accounts payable transactions.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• ‪High school Diploma or GED required, associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 2-4 years related experience.
• Proficient in standard computer software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Physical Requirements of Essential Job Functions:

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.

Working Conditions:

• Typical office environment.
• Extended viewing of computer screens.
• Periodic travel between locations is required.
• Monday – Friday, 8 am -5 pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
