About the Company
Our client is a leading publicly listed manufacturing company in the specialty chemicals sector with a strong global presence and multiple group entities/subsidiaries.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible accounting professional to oversee end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong expertise in ERP/Tally, taxation, financial controls, and team guidance. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent hands-on experience in a manufacturing setup.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Handle detailed month-end closing
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
- Working extensively on Tally and MS Excel for reporting and analysis
- Providing financial insights and summaries to support management decisions
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Good communication skills in Hindi, Gujarati, and/or English
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-up skills
Skills Required
- MCom degree
- 5-6 years of relevant accounting experience
- At least 2 years recent hands-on experience in a manufacturing setup
- Proficiency in Tally (ERP)
- Proficiency in MS Excel / MS Office
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and controls
- Good communication skills in Hindi, Gujarati and/or English
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred)
