The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated, driven and highly skilled Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Accounting Systems Analyst to join the Future Finance Systems team in one of the following locations:
- Illinois: Chicago
- Missouri: Hazelwood
- Washington: Renton, Tukwila

This role will focus on accounting system design and development primarily within the SAP S/4 Hana platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, cost & financial accounting processes / principles, systems analysis and SAP S/4 Hana, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive improvements and implement technology solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in SAP S/4 Hana as a business end user, systems architect, systems integrator, and/or system developer
- Has experience in finance / accounting principles, predominately material costing
- Self-starter, go-getter, able to work effectively under minimal oversight
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to both work collaboratively in a team environment as well as individual work statements
- Advanced Excel skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of finance systems, notably SAP S/4 Hana
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, finance and manufacturing to gather requirements and design solutions that enhance functionalities
- Lead system testing and validation efforts to ensure that new functionalities meet business requirements and are implemented successfully
- Provide training and support to end-users on finance systems, ensuring they understand processes and tools
- Identify opportunities and automation within accounting processes and tools
- Stay current with industry trends and for process improvements best practices in finance systems to recommend improvements
- Travel domestically up to 5%
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work on-site at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience working in cost accounting, material accounting, financial accounting, SAP S/4 Hana system implementations or a related field
- Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Experience successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Experience working in a large, multinational corporation, manufacturing industry or aerospace and defense
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana, including Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO)
- Experience articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Experience as a change agent and ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders

Summary pay range for Illinois/Washington (Experienced, Level 3): $102,850 - $139,150
Summary pay range for Illinois/Washington (Senior, Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650
Summary pay range for Missouri (Experienced, Level 3): $96,050 - $129,050
Summary pay range for Missouri (Senior, Level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
