STV is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist to work with our corporate project accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office) and will be located in our Douglassville, PA office.
This position is responsible for supporting the Billers and Project Accountants in preparing invoices and updating our system for accurate project setup and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow within STV.
Our Accounting Support Specialists work directly with the billing and project accounting team and interface with others throughout the organization. It is an all-around team effort across the different departments within STV. Our accounting support specialists are essential to fulfilling the needs of our clients. Job duties include:
Time Transfer processing
Assembling backup needed for the billing team, including reviewing expenses to meet contract requirements
Data entry of subconsultant contracts and invoices into the accounting system (ERP)
Monthly reporting as required per client or contract.
Updating ERP system information and Data Entry
Scanning items and document control
Assist Billing and Accounting with data entry or tasks as needed
Client audit support including gathering documentation
Assist with closeouts of projects
Miscellaneous requests as needed
Qualifications:
High School/GED required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or demonstrated equivalency preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial and/or project accounting support role
Prior experience within the A/E/C (Architectural/Engineering/Construction) industry billing preferred, but not required
Prior experience with State agencies preferred, but not required
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Microsoft Excel skills

Compensation Range:
