The Company is looking for a Full-Time Senior Accountant to join the team who is motivated, hardworking, and analytical.

Position Description: Partner with the Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Team, and business partners to ensure all accounting cycles are performed in a timely and accurate manner and supply relevant information in a timely manner to the business.

1. Maintain the G/L and prepare the financial reports:
   
   1. Adhere to the monthly close calendar by
      
      1. Ensuring all assigned journal entries and close tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
      2. Research and complete one-time/non-recurring close tasks/journal entries
      3. Providing updates on the status of assigned close tasks to key stakeholders
   2. Journal entries/account reconciliations:
      
      1. Create/Prepare journal entries in the standard journal entry template with proper supporting documentation
      2. Create/Prepare account reconciliations in the standard reconciliation template
2. Assist in administration and support of key accounting systems:
   
   1. General Ledger: Provide finance expertise and complete general ledger maintenance tasks as assigned
   2. Concur: Create, maintain, and provide concur training to business users and complete accounting review and audit steps for expense submitted expense books.
   3. Other systems as needed
3. Support the treasury fuction by:
   
   1. Monitoring cash balances
   2. Entering electronic payments into the bank
   3. Reconciling bank accounts to the general ledger
4. Prepare sales tax returns.
5. Perform back-up assignments as needed
6. Review and improve processes, analytics, and recordkeeping over accounting transactional cycles
7. Review, perform, document, and improve financial controls
8. Support the external audit by reviewing processes, controls, and preparing PBC schedules as requested by the external audit team
9. Assist in projects to consolidate various ERP systems into a single system
10. Document key processes and procedures
11. Other duties as assigned

Position is a full time, onsite position and not remote
Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting and finance / CPA/CMA a plus
• Minimum 2+ years experience in a finance function in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
