Repwest Insurance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of U-Haul (NYSE:UHAL), is seeking an Accounting Intern! This is an entry-level, full-time internship looking for a candidate pursuing a career in corporate accounting.
Candidates will operate as part of a small team under the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager and Accounting Supervisor. We are looking for a motivated and resourceful intern to join our accounting team.
This internship starts on June 2nd and will run for at least 10 weeks.
This is a fully onsite internship located at our corporate campus in Midtown Phoenix.

Responsibilities:

Creating journal entries to record business transactions

Updating and analyzing workbooks relating to premiums, claims, and reserves

Performing reconciliations and analyses

Assisting with ad hoc reporting and other accounting related activities
Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field

Familiarity with Microsoft excel

Minimum 3.0 GPA
