About This Job
Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Part of rotational program in Accounting or Finance providing an introduction to various parts of the financial functions including treasury processing, general ledger transactions, audits documentation, basic budget and finance transactions, tax accounting, and accounts payable transactions.Create evidence for reporting. Record journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare backup for standard and reoccurring transactions.
Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. Perform basic analysis for general ledger accounts.
Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing, and reporting of consolidated financial results. Create process and procedures documents.
Review expense reports with support in compliance with policies. Provide and implement ideas for enhancements to processes and technologies.
Post journal entries
Reconcile GL accounts, inclusive of, clearing any reconciling items
Prepare various month-end schedules to assist with closing the books
Prepare various quarter-end SEC schedules
Prepare various quarter-end Call Report schedules
Review GL accounts and wbs for reasonableness
Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Assist with correcting problems discovered with the posting of loan activity
