About This Job
Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting across accounting and finance jobs. Entry level support for a specific area from transactions created through management reporting including compliance with SOX regulations.Responsibilities:
- Support the validation of accurate entry of transactions into the accounting system through daily, monthly, and quarterly account reconciliations and monitoring
- Review and process disbursements for employee travel and expense reports. Support the accounting management team and business units with the budgeting, cost management, reporting, and forecasting initiatives
- Manage all month end accounting for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, unpaid invoice accruals, payroll, cost allocations, and account reconciliations
- Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards
- Create and update processes and procedures for journal entries
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in accounting role
