Accounting Specialist 

Job Description: 

We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team at our Milan office. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Finance team, overseeing administrative functions with precision and efficiency.   

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the administrative accounting office, reporting directly to the Senior Accountant. 

• Ensure compliance with all tax deadlines and regulations. 

• Manage accounting activities related to both the active and passive cycles. 

• Conduct periodic cash reconciliations for various group companies. 

• Handle bank management and payments effectively. 

• Facilitate customer collections and reconcile customer ledgers. 

• Provide support for company reporting by collaborating with different departments. 

• Support the closing of accounting periods. 

• Prepare cash flow projections and plans. 

• Monitor different email accounts for payables and receivables communication 

• Archive maintenance and filing (POs, Agreements, Offers, invoices) 

• Lipe – Intrastat periodic accounting and reconciliation 

• Ageing and credit management updates 

• Staff Salaries / Expenses / Cards periodic reconciliation

Skills: 

• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role. 

• Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent experience. 

• Proficiency in the Office Suite package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. 

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
