Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our finance team. This position will be primarily responsible for performing daily bank account reconciliations and maintaining accurate trust accounting records in compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain and reconcile trust accounts in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation supporting trust fund transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist in audits and regulatory reviews related to trust accounts and banking activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- NetSuite experience preferred
