About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Accountant to manage our core financial cycles and daily business operations. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency. You will have a high degree of autonomy in managing your workflow and will play a critical role in supporting our internal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Own Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor management.
- Payroll & Benefits: Execute semi-monthly payroll and assist with employee benefits administration.
- Monthly Close: Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Quarterly Financial Packages: Help prepare quarterly reporting packages
- Compliance: Manage expense report auditing and ensure all financial records are organized and audit-ready.
Operations & Office Management
- Office Stewardship: Ensure our workspace remains a productive and welcoming environment, managing supplies, vendor relations, and mail.
- Team Coordination: Support the leadership team with scheduling, team-building events, and internal communications.
- People Ops: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and access to systems.
- General Support: Act as a "generalist" to help solve daily operational challenges as they arise.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping/operations experience.
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience in accounting
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting ERP.
- Solid Excel skills (pivots, lookups, and data organization).
- Familiarity with modern tools (e.g., Gusto, Bill.com, Slack).
- Attributes: High integrity, extreme attention to detail, and a "no task is too small" attitude.

Salary Range
- Expected base salary range: $75,000 – $105,000 annually.
- Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
