Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking an Accounting Manager
Where you’ll be working: Knoxville
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and manage up to 20 different client’s billings and related payables
- Interact with Account Service teams to facilitate client billing
- Monitor internal processes to verify open orders and pending payables
- Prepare ad hoc reports for Account Service teams and clients
- Work with Director of Accounting on month close and client income reporting
- Manage a team of 2-3 staff accountants
What you bring
- 5 + years’ experience in an Accounting or a Finance role
- Advanced level skills in Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Desire to mentor accounting staff
- Ability to identify issues and develop / implement effective solutions
- Experience in cultivating strong relationships across departments to support collaboration with the accounting team
- Mindset geared toward operational optimization and process improvements
- Prior experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
- Experience working in a Mac environment, including Google Suite and Adobe preferred
- Prior experience in an advertising, marketing, media, or startup environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
