Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and responsible for month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Rockmart, GA
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00

Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve daily transactions from A/R, A/P, billing and payroll
- Support operations
- Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage and execute month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Assist with process improvements and system implementations
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to provide support to operations and management
- Experience in service or related industry a plus.
