The Role
About the role:
As an intern at Wristcheck, you will get a front-row seat into the inner workings of a fast-growing tech startup that’s revolutionizing the secondary watch market. In this role, you’ll be working within our Finance and Accounting team gaining hands-on experience in contributing to the overall financial health of our Company. You’ll assist with various accounting tasks and support the team wherever necessary while charting your own growth. This is a full-time, summer internship with a minimum 3 months duration.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with Financial Statements: Help in preparing, maintaining, and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and databases accurately.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Invoice Processing: Aid in processing invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Ad-hoc engagements and projects - we’re a small team with dynamic responsibilities!
Who you are:
- Passionate about startups and ecommerce/marketplaces. Knowledge or interest in watches is a plus, but not required.
- A hustler who wants to create real impact and get the most out of their internship experience.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator in English, ready to excel in a multilingual and multicultural work environment. Cantonese is an added advantage, but not required.
- Creative self-starter who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the business cycle.
- Able to perform in high-visibility situation, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- A current university student or recent graduate studying business, accounting, finance or a related field.
