Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team for a 10-week summer internship. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and exposure to broader business operations. You’ll work closely with our Accounting Manager on core financial tasks and also support other back-office teams, gaining insight into how a fast-paced, high-growth company runs behind the scenes. This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to collaborate with our team in person 2/3 days in our Austin, TX office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry and reconciliation of accounting records
- Support the month-end close process and help maintain accurate financial records
- Help track and organize vendor invoices, expense reports, and receipts
- Prepare and update spreadsheets and internal reporting
- Assist with documenting accounting and operational processes
- Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, People Ops, and Legal to support cross-functional tasks and special projects
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and learning new systems
- Curious, reliable, and willing to roll up your sleeves
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
$20/hr
