Job Summary
The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate finance environment. This internship offers exposure to month-end close activities, fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure processes, lease accounting, financial reporting, and business process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
· Assist with account reconciliations and research variances
· Support fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting processes
· Support lease administration and documentation maintenance
· Compile supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting
· Assist with financial reporting and SEC filing support
· Prepare analyses and reports using Excel and ERP systems
· Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
· Collaborate with accounting professionals across various functions to support business objectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
