Accounting Intern

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The Finance Team is looking to hire a summer intern out of Milford, Massachusetts or New Castle, DE. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2027.

Responsibilities:

Summer 2027 Finance Internship:Are you a driven undergraduate student eager to immerse yourself in the world of finance? Look no further! We are offering several Financial Planning and Analysis positions, positions in Milford, MA, and in New Castle, DE.

Pay Range: $22-25 per hour depending on education level and experience.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities. 
• Support account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis. 
• Prepare journal entries and assist with accounting documentation. 
• Analyze financial data and investigate account fluctuations. 
• Assist with internal and external audit requests. 
• Support process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts. 
• Participate in special projects involving systems, reporting, and compliance activities. 
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams across global locations.

A few key attributes we are seeking in intern candidates include: 

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. 
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Interest in public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting.
