Job Summary:
As an Accounting Intern at Squishable, you will provide essential support to the accounting department by handling a variety of tasks related to financial data entry, record-keeping, and administrative assistance. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounting and contribute to the smooth operation of a fun-loving company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting with special accounting projects and tasks.
- Support accounts payable and receivable invoice processing, ensuring accurate data entry, proper coding, and securing required approvals for timely payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in physical and digital formats, ensuring organized and accessible documentation.
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate reimbursement processing.
Qualification/Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic office software (Word, Excel, Google Suite).
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
Pay Rate is $18 an hour
Work Location: Part-Time, Remote, 5 hours a day, Monday-Thursday EST
This is a remote position, but if you are located outside the Eastern Standard Time zone, you must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
