Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support a wide range of accounting and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, reconciliations, tax support, and general departmental tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a solid foundation in bookkeeping or accounting.
Essential Functions & Competencies:
In this position, you are expected to:
- Perform all Accounts Payable functions including but not limited to vendor management, vendor bill processing and payment issuing, 1099 issuing, company credit card reconciliation, employee expense reimbursement.
- Process customer credit card payments, review and post daily bank transactions, make check deposits.
- Work with outside collection agent and inside Rev Gen team on aging invoices.
- Act as sales tax administrator to manage tax exemptions, conduct monthly sales tax reconciliation.
- Assist in departmental organizational duties such as, but not limited to: filing, scanning, copying and data entry.
- Cross train with other members in the Accounting team and provide temporary back up support when needed.
You should have:
- Associate Degree in Business or minimum 2 years experience in Bookkeeping functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Excel & Word with aptitude to learn new software and technologies.
- Experience with NetSuite, Expensify, and/or Avalara preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to strict operational procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and organize own workload.

Location: Mount Pleasant, South Carolina (Hybrid)
Compensation: $50,000 to $55,000 annual salary
