At Adage, we are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support the financial integrity and day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth business operations through strong attention to detail, organization, and strict adherence to established accounting procedures.
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, in compliance with legal, tax, and accounting regulations. This position has primary responsibilities across accounts payable and accounts receivable, expense management, record keeping, and basic financial reporting. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk provides general administrative and operational support to the finance team .
Requirements to succeed in this role
- Studies related toAccounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred.
- English level B2 or higher, with strong communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with tax filing processes is a plus.
