As an Accounting Associate, you play a vital role in safeguarding the Bank’s financial integrity, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the daily operations that allow our teams to serve clients with confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain accurate financial records through daily and periodic general ledger balancing, including Federal Reserve balancing, Teller and ATM balancing, Loan balancing
• Perform reconciliations for key accounts, including Positive Pay and correspondent banks
• Help safeguard the Bank’s funds through effective use of Positive Pay controls
• Collaborate and cross‑train with accounting team members to support continuity and efficiency
• Assist with department projects and process improvements
• Support other departments by researching discrepancies and resolving accounting‑related questions
• Perform all duties in compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and Bank policies

We are seeking candidates who bring:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience is beneficial
• Prior banking experience, preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfort working with numbers, reconciliations, and financial data
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to manage deadlines in a structured, fast‑paced environment
• Professional communication skills and respect for confidentiality
• A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support others
