The Accounting Team:
Our Accounting team is dedicated to maintaining the financial health of our organization. We work collaboratively to ensure accurate financial reporting, manage cash flow, and support strategic financial planning. Our team values precision, integrity, and continuous improvement.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers the chance to handle various accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency, contributing to the smooth functioning of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
As an Accounting Associate, you will:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable bills in Concur and Brex, and monitor the accounts payable email inbox daily.
- Prepare and generate the check run file on a weekly basis.
- Gather necessary support for wire setups and complete wire setup procedures weekly.
- Create and manage Concur payment batches and apply payments accurately on a weekly basis.
- Review and process expense reports daily, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly expense analysis and prepaid account reconciliation.
- Handle Concur accruals and attach prepaid amortization schedules on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including the preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain organized and accurate records in NetSuite, ensuring all invoices and documents are properly attached.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and financial processes
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with specific experience in preparing and posting journal entries.
- Proficiency with accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Concur.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
