Your Role:
You’ll work in a collaborative environment to manage our payroll processes, accounts payable, and employee expense reimbursements. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
As an Accounting Analyst at Cardamom, you will:
- Process and manage payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain payroll records, including tax filings, deductions, and benefit contributions
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and approval, vendor payments, and reconciliation of statements
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities as needed
- Respond to employee and vendor inquiries related to payroll, payments, and reimbursements
- Maintain accurate financial records as well as support internal and external audits
Our ideal Accounting Analyst will have:
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or similar finance roles
- Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts payable
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills
Bonus points for experience with the following:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with expense management or time tracking systems
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance
