JOB DESCRIPTION
This person will be mainly responsible of Local Statutory Reporting activities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP & local GAAP).
- Prepare reports for local stakeholders, financial statements for statutory reporting.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and support annual audits and tax filings, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Be the primary contact for PwC audit team, leading and following up the pending items for the audits.
- Be the primary contact for EY Financial statements preparation, providing information, preparing working papers.
- Leading the preparation for specific items that need to be analyzed under Mex GAAP such as operating leases.
- Monitor and input audit adjustments in SAP coming from audit review.
- Statutory Reporting: ensure a timely and accurate reporting for external stakeholders, which include government entities and financial institutions.
- Preparation of Financial Statements for RNIE (Secretary of Economy)
- Preparation of Financial Statements for bails and vendors
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in accounting and tax regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
- Be the primary contact for local Tax team, prepare information for Tax and SAT audits.
- Assist Tax team to present balances in accounting in proper way.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience:
- +5 years of professional experience in a Multi-National Corporation and/or Consulting Firms (Tax department / Big 4).
- Self-starter with an ability to multi-task.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferably) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (desired)
