is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this role will work cross-functionally and help to monitor compliance with GAAP as a key contributor to our month-end close process. This role will have the opportunity to develop accounting skills in many different areas of the business, including revenue, fixed assets, operations, and international.
This position is a hybrid role with the candidate strongly encouraged to work from our HQ office in Austin, TX with the ability to work remotely on other days.
- Ownership and preparation of multiple balance sheet and income statement ledger account reconciliations, including preparation for monthly department close meetings.
- Own all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including compliance with company policies, recording monthly entries, and coordinating with department owners.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team on G&A analysis, including budget to actual comparison and capital expenditure reviews.
- Accounting partner to various internal operational organizations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit requests as part of our annual external audit process.
- Assist the accounting team in ad hoc projects.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting or industry accounting
- Proficiency in Excel
- NetSuite experience (preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- CPA license (preferred)
