Accounting Analyst (H)

JOB SUMMARY

Supports the receivable function of lease accounting .  Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and lease documents

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·          Prepares asset and liability account entries and balance sheet reconciliations by compiling and analyzing receivable information via lease software systems

·          Documents financial transactions by entering lease information in Tango for all of North America except for Quebec and Atlantic divisions.  Substantiates financial transactions by auditing lease documents.

·          Prepares monthly and adhoc billings by verifying documentation and requesting drafts.

·          Reconcile property tax billings annually

·          Invoices customers as needed for one time charges, special expenses, recurring charges, etc

·          Assist with application of daily lockbox receipts to customer accounts, research any unidentified payments

·          Calculate and maintain files with regards to percent rent owed to Circle K from tenants on monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

·          Maintains accounting controls by following IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal accounting policies; maintains financial security by following internal controls.

·          Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations.

·          Assist with special projects as needed
