Role Overview
As an Accountant, you will support Muvr’s core accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You will work closely with Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and scalable accounting systems as the company grows.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in accounting within fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare financial statements and reporting for leadership review
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance team
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Revenue teams on financial processes
Required
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or related roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in startups, marketplaces, logistics, or service-based businesses
- Familiarity with revenue recognition and marketplace transaction accounting
- Experience supporting audits and compliance processes
- Passion for building scalable financial infrastructure
