About the role:

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in our financial reporting and day-to-day operations. Accuracy, structure, and analytical thinking are essential in this role, and your contributions will directly support our continued growth.

We’re looking for someone with solid accounting experience who is confident handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and other core accounting tasks. You will also be involved in the monthly closing process across our 5+ legal entities.

In a growing company like ours, there’s plenty of opportunity to make an impact. You’ll help identify and drive efficiency improvements, contributing to the development of scalable, streamlined, and reliable accounting processes—no matter how our transaction volumes evolve.

You will also support income tax and VAT filings, either independently or in collaboration with local advisors across different markets. This requires a good understanding of the bigger picture, along with the ability to ask the right questions and ensure compliance.

You will be part of our small but efficient Finance team, reporting to the Group Finance Manager who is based in Malmö, Sweden. You will work from our office in Warsaw, Poland, there you’ll be part of our team in Poland (approx. 3-4 people), and globally work alongside many colleagues from across the organization.

Key aspects of the role:

Accounting:

· Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts.

· Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Assist in maintaining and updating the financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

· Assist in VAT and tax filings.

General Support:

· Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

· Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.

To be successful in the role we believe that you:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

· 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (experience in business controlling is a plus).

· A good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Fortnox, Xero, Comarch, or similar).

· Can move between hands-on tasks to overall strategic process thinking quickly

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

· It is very positive if you have some knowledge of local Polish tax laws and regulations.
