About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Accountants to join a growing offshore team based in Pakistan. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with strong technical expertise and a desire to work with Australian clients in a dynamic and professional environment.
We are looking to hire multiple candidates based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. Applicants with prior Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) experience and knowledge of the BGL accounting system will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients to obtain data, records, and documentation required for accounting and compliance purposes.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns accurately and in accordance with Australian standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive workpapers supporting financial statements and tax returns.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies where required.
- Identify actual or potential compliance issues and escalate appropriately.
- Manage pension compliance and reporting requirements.
- Support workflow management and maintain regular communication with management regarding key matters.
- Ensure all lodgement and reporting deadlines are met.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an outsourced or offshore service environment.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Prior SMSF accounting experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with the BGL accounting system is highly desirable.
This role operates on Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST.
