Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

(the position is temporary for ~1 year)

Would you like to:

• Get deep understanding of fuel retail industry from accounting/reporting angle and work in one of the biggest fuel retailers worldwide?

• Ensure accurate and timely inventory accounting and reporting for Circle K Energy Trading SA on monthly, quarterly and year end basis?

• Manage operational issues, profit or loss effects, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area?

• Ensure close dialogue with BU and various stakeholders in Europe and North America?

• Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group’s guidelines?

• Participate in challenging improvement projects in fuel accounting / reporting area?

In order for you to succeed, you will need:

• University degree in economics or finance field;

• Solid Experience in accounting or audit field, preferably within an international environment;

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month- end/year end close process;

• Good computer skills and general accounting system background (Oracle JDE and Longview will be considered as an advantage);

• Strong analytical and accounting skills;

• Ability to work in a changing environment;

• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with Business Units and colleagues in Europe and USA;

• Experience with applications of IFRS.
