The Opportunity

We're looking for an Accountant, Senior Accountant or Manager to join our Business Advisory team in Dalby on a permanent basis. In this role you'll support our Partners by preparing compliance, tax and accounting work for a diverse range of clients across companies, partnerships, trusts and individual businesses. Whatever your current level, this is a genuine opportunity to build or extend your career in a close-knit regional team, backed by the resources and career pathways of a national firm.

Your role, your contribution!

  • Prepare and/or review tax returns, financial statements, reconciliations and business advice for companies, partnerships, trusts and individual clients

  • Complete work to a high technical standard, meeting deadlines and budget expectations on every job

  • Liaise directly with the ATO and other government bodies on client matters

  • Maintain accurate, compliant work papers and client files in line with Findex Group standards

  • Support and mentor less experienced team members where relevant to your level

What you will bring to the role:

  • A relevant degree qualification

  • Commenced, completed, or working towards CA, CPA or equivalent

  • Experience in an accounting role suited to your level, ideally within public practice

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and government bodies

  • A positive, proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
