The Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of the Global Finance organization and is responsible for the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations.

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

ACCOUNTANT in Record-to-Report team Netherlands

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process and maintain financial records in compliance with the Group’s policies and procedures and legal requirements.

• Process accounting documents according to department’s approved procedures.

• Perform account reconciliation and analysis, resolve discrepancies and errors.

• Take part in periodical close processes according to schedules and to Department’s approved procedure.

• Investigate information that is being submitted by other departments and understand the internal processes of the other departments.

• Assist other departments with their respective questions and ad hoc requests.

• Assist the Business Unit with ad hoc requests.

• Develop and maintain process documentation.

Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

• Experience in controlling, accounting, audit, or similar field, preferably within an international work environment.

• Fluent English language skills to communicate with Business Unit and colleagues in Europe.

• Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) and accounting system background (SAP, Oracle JDE and Longview is an advantage).

• Goal-oriented, proactive, with a high level of responsibility.

• Accurate and detailed-oriented.

• Ability to work in a changing environment and willingness to grow professionally.
