In this role you'll
- In this role you’ll ensure the general ledger and financial reporting are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with GAAP.
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls related to general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Analyze financial trends and investigate variances across the general ledger and financial statements.
- Help maintain company-wide compliance with reconciliation standards and internal control requirements.
- Complete investment portfolio accounting entries and related reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting reports, including analyzing and explaining budget variances.
- Support regulatory reporting by preparing data for filings such as FDIC Call Reports and SEC reports.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for
- You have an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- You have 2 or more years of accounting or related experience (Required).

- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable building and using spreadsheets to analyze data.

- You are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
