Position Summary
Help build the financial foundation that supports our business. As an entry-level Accountant, you'll contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring reliable reporting that enables informed business decisions and supports the successful delivery of our mission. Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
Maintain financial records and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting policies.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
Maintain fixed asset records and asset location information.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to audit requests.
Help analyze financial data, including costs, revenues, and commitments, to support business planning and reporting.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–2 years of accounting or related experience, including internships.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
