Employment Duration: 6-month contract
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial accounting and reporting of a group of companies, including period-end closing, journal entries, account analysis and related reporting
- Prepare statutory accounts, supporting schedules, and reporting packages to holding company
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis and periodic management reports
- Coordinate invoicing, payments, funding requirements and cash flow forecasts, and prepared related schedules
- Support accounting and reporting matters arising from joint venture operations, interacting with relevant teams and counterparts to resolve discrepancies/ issues
- Assist in handling accounting, audit and tax related matters, including preparation of supporting information where required
- Ensure compliance with relevant CLP accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Provide support on other ad-hoc assignments
Requirements
- A recognized university Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- Professional qualification of a recognized accountancy body is preferred
- At least 3 years’ relevant hands-on working experience in accounting, preferably in an ERP environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Proficiency in Oracle will be an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Detail oriented
- Articulate and able to communicate with colleagues to obtain clarification or resolve issues
- Able to work with moderate supervision
Skills Required
