Job Description

Job Summary: 

A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services for complex portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead preparation of complex financial reports while maintaining high quality standards

What you will do:

  • You'll lead the preparation of complex financial statements, NAV calculations, and comprehensive reports, applying diverse accounting principles with minimal supervision.
  • You'll process capital calls, distributions, and investor notices whilst performing bookkeeping for complex transactions.
  • You'll conduct quality assurance reviews and identify operational risks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
  • You'll document detailed procedures for complex accounting processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • You'll build and apply knowledge of client-specific requirements and industry best practices to support fund accounting operations.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or ACCA Level 2 or ACA qualification
  • You bring minimum 4 years' professional experience, with at least 2 years in fund accounting
  • You demonstrate expert-level proficiency in preparing complex financial statements, applying accounting standards and policies with minimal supervision, and advanced Excel skills
  • You possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and effective communication skills with the capacity to manage multiple complexity levels independently
  • You are a proactive, results-driven professional who embodies our Group Values (Authentic, Bold, and Collaborative), demonstrates collaborative teamwork, and is committed to continuous learning and process improvement

Skills Required
