Job DescriptionRole
A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services for complex portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead preparation of complex financial reports while maintaining high quality standards.
What you'll do
- You'll lead the preparation of complex financial statements, NAV calculations, periodic financial reports, and other client deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- You'll independently execute complex fund accounting activities, including bookkeeping, capital calls, distributions, investor notices, and complex financial transactions.
- You'll apply relevant accounting standards, policies, and client-specific requirements with minimal supervision, conducting self-reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- You'll identify potential operational risks, document detailed accounting procedures, and contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and team training initiatives.
- You'll manage work progress through accurate timesheet completion, participate in required training programs, develop knowledge of industry practices, and perform additional duties based on business needs.

Qualifications
About you
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, ACCA Level 2, or ACA qualification, with at least 4 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in fund accounting.
- You have strong expertise in preparing complex financial statements and applying relevant accounting standards and policies accurately with minimal supervision.
- You possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, along with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- You demonstrate effective communication and documentation skills, a proactive and results-driven mindset, and the ability to identify and clearly communicate processes and operational risks.
- You are a professional, adaptable, and collaborative team player who values knowledge sharing, supports training initiatives, maintains high-quality standards, and is eager to learn client-specific requirements and industry best practices while demonstrating the Group Values of Authentic, Bold, and Collaborative.
