Job Title: Accountant
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You will record supplier/expense invoices, prepare the company's monthly tax filings, and monitor project costing files, making sure everything is accurate and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and processing supplier and expense invoices in the ERP system
- Preparing monthly tax filings, including:
- VAT returns
- VIES recapitulative statements
- Withholding tax returns
- Monitoring and maintaining project costing files, ensuring all costs are correctly allocated to each project
- Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Keeping accounting records accurate and well organized
- Working with internal departments, project managers on accounting matters
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Greek accounting standards and tax legislation
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Accounting license (Class A or B) will be considered an asset
