Job DescriptionAs an Accountant 1 within our Fund Accounting team, you’ll build your foundational expertise while supporting the delivery of accurate and timely accounting services for a portfolio of funds. In this entry‑level role, you’ll focus on structured processes, routine transactions, and core reporting activities—working under guidance while developing your technical knowledge and contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.
What You Will Do
- You’ll prepare basic financial statements, NAV calculations, and supporting deliverables using established guidelines, ensuring accuracy and quality under supervision.
- You’ll process daily fund accounting transactions, including bookkeeping entries, capital calls, distributions, and investor notifications using designated systems.
- You’ll maintain accurate records by reconciling transactions, preparing working papers, and completing operational checklists in line with standard procedures.
- You’ll support daily operations by tracking progress, completing timesheets, following workflows, and escalating issues when required.
- You’ll contribute to quality delivery by performing self‑reviews, supporting senior team members, and actively participating in training and development activities.

About You
- You have completed your HSC with strong numerical skills and are working towards ACCA/ACA (or equivalent), or you hold a relevant degree.
- You have some experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within fund accounting or a shared services environment.
- You have a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, and you’re eager to deepen your knowledge in fund accounting.
- You are organised, detail‑oriented, and reliable, with good time‑management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- You are a proactive and collaborative team player, open to feedback, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
