Account Sales Executive
The Account Manager is responsible for solving critical business challenges and cultivating new and expanded customer relationships. This role focuses on understanding customers' business environments and aligning Ricoh solutions to support their mission-critical goals and objectives through strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth within new and existing accounts.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to identify and generate new sales opportunities, increasing Ricoh's market share.
- Research customer environments to uncover and address both known and latent business challenges.
- Understand how customers make purchasing decisions by focusing on their business needs rather than a predetermined product or service.
- Effectively communicate Ricoh's value proposition and ability to accelerate digital transformation.
- Use consultative selling and storytelling techniques to uncover opportunities that align with Ricoh's portfolio of solutions.
- Articulate the financial impact of purchasing decisions and demonstrate business value.
- Develop and confidently deliver compelling presentations in both virtual and in-person settings.
Qualifications Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven business development experience.
- Experience in an IT and/or software services environment preferred.
- Knowledge of document workflow solutions and processes preferred.
- Foundational understanding of profit and loss (P&L) components.
- Ability to research and analyze customer organizations to facilitate meaningful business conversations.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple accounts while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
- Primarily works in a standard office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and typical noise levels.

- Work is largely sedentary but may require occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds (e.g., files, documents, and office materials).
- Requires regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, calculators, and related tools.
- Approximately 20% travel required, including occasional overnight travel.
