Description
Purpose of the Job:
The Account Representative (AR) is responsible for supporting revenue growth by managing customer requests, executing accurate and timely quotes, and driving order conversion. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and works cross-functionally with Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Trade Compliance to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience. The AR is expected to take ownership of their assigned accounts, build strong customer relationships, and proactively identify opportunities to win business while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
Reports to: Director Sales Operations Spares
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers by phone, fax, and email daily
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Gather critical information (end user, platform, urgency) to support effective quoting and strategy
- Prepare and submit accurate, competitive quotes aligned with market conditions and company strategy
- Execute quoting strategies to improve hit ratio and drive revenue growth
- Work closely with Supply Chain to obtain pricing, lead times, and availability
- Partner with Customer Operations to ensure clean order entry and high Clean Order %
- Monitor open quotes and orders, proactively following up to convert and/or update status
- Support resolution of issues impacting orders (pricing, lead time, compliance, supply chain constraints)
- Develop an understanding of customer’s product demands and trend
- Build customer relationship to maintain and develop additional business

- Foreign language skills required
Training:
- Pentagon Basics
- Export & ITAR compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations and Standard Terminology.
- 90 Day Probation OJT (Includes, Return Material Authorization (RMA), Adding Vendors, Purchase Order Creation, Approved Suppliers.
Skills Required
- Sales or account management experience
- Proficient in Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years related experience
- Foreign language skills
