Account Manager – Medical Communications

We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Medical Communications team. This role supports a global growth account within an interesting and evolving therapy area, delivering work with a publications focus and some medical affairs support.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys a mix of deliverables, managing projects, working with clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
- Manage medical communications projects across publications deliverables with some medical affairs support.
- Coordinate timelines, resources, and workflows to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Act as a client-facing contact, supporting day-to-day communication and building strong working relationships
- Track budgets, forecasts, and monitor project finances
- Work closely with writers, editors, and account team colleagues
- Identify risks or issues early and propose practical solutions
- Contribute ideas and improvements to ways of working
What we're looking for
Required experience and skills:
- Experience working in medical communications
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience in financial tracking and budget management
- Confidence communicating with clients and internal teams
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and use initiative
